Vanilla Creme Fraiche

Ingredients: 

1/4 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup plain low-fat yogurt
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Yield: 

6 Servings

Method: 

In a small chilled bowl whip cream until almost stiff. Gently fold in the yogurt and vanilla. Chill in a covered container at least two hours to allow flavors to blend. Store in refrigerator no longer than two days.

This recipe yields 3/4 cup. Serving size: 2 tablespoons.
